WHO WE ARE
Before the formation of X-LS extended language services in Heidelberg in 2004 and of Heidelberg language services in Paris in 2010, Nadia Soufi, the founder, had several years of experience as a freelance translator and liaison interpreter. She has amassed considerable work experience abroad, and numerous assignments for various service and industry sectors at international trade shows add to her solid knowledge of the market. She studied Economics and Languages at the University of Burgundy (France), Manchester (England) and graduated with a degree in Translation from Germersheim (Germany). She gained some of her work experience by translating for companies like SAP AG and Siemens AG. She has been an accredited freelance translator for the European Central Bank in Frankfurt/Main since 2003.
Today the on-site teams based in Heidelberg and in Paris are assisted by a local resources team made of professional licensed freelance translators and interpreters.
Our whole team is actively engaged in their own core business of translation, interpreting and event management, not only in Germany and in France, but also in other countries. They can provide you with local service support and competent intercultural advice.
We differentiate ourselves from other classical translation agencies thanks to customer-oriented solutions. We manage all of your specific linguistic and communication needs under one roof (see Portfolio). This way, your company remains focused on its core business.
